Customer service

Szent István University Archive is the deposit for the records of the University and its predecessors created and accumulated since its foundation.  We act as the guardian of the University’s collective memory.

In addition to research activities, the archives also perform customer service tasks. We provide information on issues related to the operation and history of the institution, e.g. organizational changes, teacher activities, university history, university records management issues, both for internal and external enquiries.
Most of the customer service requests are student and pension certificates from former students and employees. The proof of study time can be requested from the archives by pension insurance institutions, employers or clients in person.
 
In case of an enquiry the following data need to be provided:
  • Full name (maiden name, or name used when enrolled to SZIU)
  • Place and date of birth
  • Mother's name
  • Faculty, major
  • Year of enrolment (and year of graduation)
We ask you to provide as much information regarding your enquiry as it is possible, as well as comprehensive contact details (name, postal address and/or e-mail address).
